Julia supports children and families to feel understood, supported, and emotionally secure.

She is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over two decades of experience specializing in attachment, emotional regulation, and relationships. Her work focuses on helping individuals and families feel more steady and connected in their relationships.

Safe. Seen. Soothed. Secure.

Julia’s work is centered on supporting parents in building strong, secure relationships with their children. Drawing from attachment science and clinical experience, she helps parents understand their child’s inner world and respond by being with them in what they feel.

She guides families toward moments where children feel safe, seen, soothed, and secure, supporting the development of emotional security over time. Because when a child feels understood, everything else begins to fall into place.

She is the creator of Daisy & Buttercup, a heart-centered children’s series and growing platform designed to help children understand their feelings, feel safe in their world, and experience secure attachment from an early age.

Through storytelling, the series reflects how loving, attuned relationships support children in navigating big emotions—so they never feel alone in what they feel.

MEET JULIA

Alexandra brings a clinical and developmental perspective to Daisy & Buttercup, grounded in her work as a Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Her work focuses on how early emotional experiences within the parent-child relationship shape a child’s sense of safety, connection, and self over time.

Alexandra shares a deep alignment with the belief that it is through being with a child in what they feel-helping them feel safe, seen, and soothed-that secure attachment behind to form.

As a clinical and collaborating partner, she supports the broader vision of Daisy & Buttercup, helping bring this work into conversation with parents, caregivers, and the wider community.
